Rock ‘The Day’ with JYP’s rookie boy band DAY6 on 5 December 2015!

Three Angles Group is proud to announce yet another addition to the amazing star-studded December line-up. “2015 DAY6 Fan Meeting in Singapore” will be held on 5^th December 2015 at Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre, Hall E.

DAY6 is the first rock band under JYP Entertainment, one of the top record labels in Korea. The company is also home to popular artists like 2PM, Wonder Girls, GOT7 and Miss A. Originally known as ‘5Live’, the addition of their sixth and youngest member Dowoon had the band change its name to DAY6. The group comprises of Leader Sungjin, Jae, Junhyeok, Young K, Wonpil, and Dowoon. Their debut mini-album ‘The Day’ was released on 7 September 2015 and the MV for title track ‘Congratulations’ has since surpassed 4 million views.

DAY6 has been gaining much recognition and praises. Instead of taking the typical route by promoting on music shows, JYP’s marketing strategy for DAY6 was to perform in more interactive settings like radio shows and live performances (busking) where they can “communicate with their fans”. Despite the lack of broadcast promotions, their debut album ‘The Day’ topped the iTunes charts in Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand just 2 days after its release. The album has also clinched second spot on Billboard’s World Albums Chart.

The members participated in the composing and writing of songs for their first album. Not only that, DAY6 has also been actively making covers of their label mates’ songs like 2PM’s ‘My House’ and Wonder Girls’ ‘Nobody’ which garnered over 80 thousand views.

DAY6’s upcoming first solo concert in Seoul received explosive response with tickets selling out within 5 minutes! Their popularity has reached beyond just South Korea. DAY6’s Bangkok showcase has sold all of its 2,500 seats within minutes of its ticket launch and their Taiwanshowcase was a sell-out as well. The same can be expected for the Singapore fan meet seeing that ticket orders have been placed even before the final event confirmation.

Fans can look forward to an intimate and cozy session with live performances by the remarkably talented band, DAY6. There will also be opportunities for fans to interact with DAY6 members on stage through specially-planned game segments.
